Optically active covalent organic frameworks and hyperbranched polymers with chirality induced by circularly polarized light

Preferred-handed twist was induced by CPL to covalent organic frameworks (COF’s) and hyperbranched polymers where the internal rotation rate in COF’s estimated solid-state NMR found affect chirality induction efficiency.

An optically active, hyperbranched poly(fluorenevinylene) derivative was synthesized by polymerization of (-)-2,4,7-tris(bromomethyl)-9-neomenthyl-9-pentylfluorene.
